GROUP VISIT REQUEST
We are pleased to offer guided and self-guided campus tours for groups of high school and college age students.
Some quick information to note before you plan your visit:
• We require one chaperone for every 15 students, no less than two chaperones per group.
• Guided and Self- Guided Groups are expected to arrive 45 minutes prior to the start time. Groups that are over 15 minutes late will forfeit the admissions information session. Guided Groups over 30 minutes late will forfeit the admissions information session AND campus tour.
• The University of South Carolina does not provide meals for groups. All requests to eat on campus should be made in advance through Carolina Food Co.
WHAT ARE OUR GROUP VISIT OPTIONS?
The following on-campus options may be available to help you tailor your group visit needs
• Guided Campus Tour
Learn all about Gamecock life during a two-hour campus tour. Each tour begins with a 20-minute presentation covering the admissions process, financial aid and scholarships. Then, students spend 45 minutes exploring campus guided by a University Ambassador.
• Self-Guided Group Visit
We will provide the group visit contact(s) with resources to share with their students to explore campus at your own pace. Admissions Representatives will be available to provide a 30-minute information session before you depart on your self- guided adventure.
• Self-Guided Scavenger Hunt
Our scavenger hunt tour is a great option for middle-school groups. Upon registering for this option, we will provide the group contact(s) with resources to explore campus with an interactive hunt for clues. This option DOES NOT include an information session.
