The Admissions Student Council is a diverse team of current student leaders who assist admissions staff at recruitment events, represent USC and their academic college on student panels, and share their college experience with prospective students through a variety of outreach initiatives, including assisting with information sessions, emails, virtual meetings and social media campaigns. They serve as one of many Ambassador groups that work within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Mission Statement: The mission of the Admissions Student Council is to purposefully support prospective students and demonstrate the best qualities of the University of South Carolina by acting as dedicated and passionate Admissions Ambassadors.Vision Statement: The vision of the Admissions Student Council is to positively impact communities beyond the University through sharing their personal experience and building relationships.Time and Commitment Required:
Applicant Requirements:
· Be a current USC undergraduate student· Be professional, articulate, and comfortable speaking in front of groups· Be highly motivated, energetic, dependable, and knowledgeable· Be willing to participate in recruitment activities, which include some evenings and weekends· Possess an understanding of the University of South Carolina and its programs
