The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is looking for enthusiastic students to be part of our volunteer ambassador team MOST. The Multicultural Outreach Student Team (MOST) provides current students with an opportunity to share their USC stories, while also gaining leadership experience and service hours. MOST Ambassadors assist with admissions staff at recruitment events, represent USC on student panels, lead campus tours and share their college experience with prospective students.

Ambassadors are now welcome to support and engage with USC's Carolina CLIMB initiative “Commitment to Learning, Innovation, Mentorship and Beyond”.  Carolina CLIMB is helping high school students across the state prepare for college and a career. The overall mission is to inspire high school students from across the state of South Carolina to pursue a college degree.

We are looking for a diverse group of students to add to our student ambassador team! MOST students primarily focus on the recruitment of underrepresented students by attending recruitment events and participating in outreach activities. 

Applicant Requirements:

• Be a current USC undergraduate student. 
• Have a minimum GPA of 2.75. 
• All new students to MOST must submit the online application.
• Applications to participate in the Fall are due by Thursday, September 5 at noon.

Membership Expectations:

• Be professional, articulate, and comfortable speaking in front of groups. 
• Be highly motivated, energetic, dependable, and knowledgeable. 
• Be willing to participate in recruitment activities, which include some evenings and weekends. 
• Possess an understanding of the University of South Carolina and its programs. 
• Attend MOST meetings!
  • Meetings for FALL 2024 will be hosted bi-weekly starting Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 6pm- 7pm in RHUU. 
  • Meetings include event and outreach trainings and activities, social connections and much more!
  • To gain active membership you must attend at least 4 out of the 7 scheduled meetings.  
• Be able to volunteer at at least 1 major Admissions Event!
  • MOST Ambassadors are required to volunteer during at least (1) major Admissions event, events such as the Carolina Preview Open House are typically held on Saturdays ​​​​​.
